Product Profile

The lithium iron phosphate battery is a lithium ion battery using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the positive electrode material and carbon as the negative electrode material.The rated voltage of the monomer is 3.2V, and the charge cut-off voltage is 3.6V~3.65V.

During the charging process, some of the lithium ions in the lithium iron phosphate are extracted, transferred to the negative electrode through the electrolyte, and embedded in the negative electrode carbon material; at the same time, electrons are released from the positive electrode and reach the negative electrode from the external circuit to maintain the balance of the chemical reaction. During the discharge process, lithium ions are extracted from the negative electrode and reach the positive electrode through the electrolyte. At the same time, the negative electrode releases electrons and reaches the positive electrode from the external circuit to provide energy for the outside world.

Compared with lead-acid batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries have the following characteristics:

1. Lithium battery has higher energy density, lead-acid battery is 30WH/KG, and lithium battery is 110WH/KG.

2. The cycle life of lithium batteries is longer, the average lead-acid battery is 300-500 times, and the lithium battery is more than five thousand times.

3. The nominal voltage is different: the single lead-acid battery is 2.0V, the single lithium battery is about 3.6V, and the lithium-ion battery is easier to connect in series and parallel, so that different battery packs can be obtained for different projects.

4. Under the same capacity, the volume and weight of lithium batteries are smaller. Lithium batteries are 30% smaller and weigh only one-third to one-fifth of lead acid.

5. The current application of lithium ion is safer, and BMS manages all modules in a unified manner.

6.The price of lithium ion is more expensive, 5-6 times that of lead acid.
